Individual tickets can be purchased for each event. Why?
For one thing, TREFFEN’s musical line-up is so diverse that this simply makes more sense: fun-punk fans and the Afrobeat community, singer-songwriter aficionados, the noise crowd and everyone else can all get their money’s worth at TREFFEN, while only paying for the concerts they actually want to see.
The ticketing system also came about because we were unhappy with the way things are often handled at large city festivals: they frequently sell more tickets than the venues can actually accommodate. As a result, you can end up stuck at the entrance when capacity has been reached — despite having a valid ticket. We want to spare everyone that disappointment.
That’s why at TREFFEN, tickets for each concert are available individually at an affordable price, allowing everyone to put together their own festival menu.
With a guaranteed entry — because once a slot is sold out, it’s sold out.
The artists receive the revenue from ticket sales (after the clubs’ costs have been deducted). The concept has proven itself over the years, and we (clubs and labels) are happy to continue with it.
